Sadly we'll miss Christmas in Vienna this year, but it's because we're planning to spend New Year's there!
We head out on Christmas day to a city so lovely they named a waltz after it! Our plans include side trips to Salzburg and Bratislava, a brewery crawl, and a New Year's Eve black-tie, debutante ball at city hall! (Tomorrow I'll post a couple of my options, and you can help decide what I should wear - god knows I could use some fairy godmother wisdom!)
We can't wait to see Schonbrunn Palace again, maybe take a ride on the Ferris wheel, see the Lippizaners at the Spanish Riding School, and check out the Hofburg museums. We've been before, but only for a day stop on a river cruise. This time, we intend to waltz across it!
